American boy band Big Time Rush will headline a concert series at the Maryland State Fair’s main stage this summer, where they will perform Sept. 7.

Canadian pop music duo Crash Adams will be their opening act.

The Maryland State Fair will take place at the state fairgrounds in Timonium for three weekends: Aug. 22-25, Aug. 29-Sept. 2, and Sept. 5-8.

Big Time Rush Fan Club members will be able to purchase tickets and VIP upgrades starting on Feb. 21 at 12 p.m. Tickets sales will begin for the general public on Feb. 23 at 10 a.m.

General admission lawn tickets will cost $55 each. Audience members can bring their own blanket or chair. Concert tickets include admission to the Maryland State Fair.

Gates will open at 5 p.m. for the concert, Crash Adams will perform at 6 p.m., and Big Time Rush will take the stage at 7:15 p.m.

First rising to fame on the scripted Nickelodeon television show “Big Time Rush” in November 2009, the band performed together internationally and produced three full-length albums before parting ways in 2013.

Band members and friends Carlos PenaVega, Logan Henderson, Kendall Schmidt, and James Maslow reunited musically in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. They have since release their fourth studio album, “Another Life.”

Big Time Rush performed at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, in July during The Can’t Get Enough Tour.

The band’s opening act this summer, Crash Adams, comprises Crash (Rafaele Massarelli) and Adams (Vince Sasso), who have been best friends since birth.

The “2024 Live! ON TRACK! Concert Series” at The Maryland State Fair will be presented by M&T Bank on the High’s Main Stage.
