Sunset Jams, a free weekly celebration of music, food, and community, returns to Rash Field Park for its second year beginning Sept. 6, 2024, and running through Oct. 25, 2024. The concerts run from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore announced the weekly Friday evening concert series’ return, which features a different Baltimore-based musician each week. The lineup this fall includes Scott Patterson and the Kojo Red, Caleb Stine, Todd Marcus, Roses N Rust, Black Assets, and others, who will perform at the Park’s BGE Pavilion, giving attendees the chance to end their week with the sounds of Baltimore and the beautiful sights of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
“We’re thrilled to bring together our community with live music, vibrant arts, and a variety of great food this fall at Rash Field Park,” said Laurie Schwartz, president of Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore. “This event is a continuation of our efforts to celebrate the unique culture and creative spirit of Baltimore, providing a platform for local artists and fostering connections within our neighborhoods.”
In addition to sights and sounds, Sunset Jams caters to the taste buds with a rotating selection of food trucks, including Fuzzies, Craving Potato Food Truck, and new for this year, Koshary Corner with vegan and vegetarian options at every show. Also new for this year, the new Rash Field Cafe Tenant, One Do Coffee Roasters, will pilot three new drink cocktails and sell beer and wine during each event.
Musicians like Scott Patterson will provide attendees a fusion of R&B, indie, and soul, and NU30X’s Caribbean Soul Experience will uplift with the tropical island sounds of steel drums. Sunset Jams will kick off on September 6 with Todd Marcus’ quartet’s unique sound, as Marcus is one of the few Bass Clarinetists in the world.
